Texture Manager for Mac Pre-Alpha (Mon 8-17-09):

Click here to download.

Unzip this file into the existing folder the earlier test was put into. Then double click "TextureManager_07.jar". You should see a window with some 3d graphics and some internal windows in it. Try playing with the interface. Also you can use the arrow keys and the Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, Insert, and Delete keys. Experiment with it to see how it works. Be sure to give me feedback. It doesn't do anything in particular yet but it's the beginning code for a texture manager in a simple 3d map editor. Enjoy! This only works on a Mac with the previous installation made.

NOTE: "Trenchant Test" is an early attempt at 3d. It is only configured for PC usage.

Billboard Test for Mac (Sat 7-18-09):

Click Here to Download Billboard Test for Mac <--- DAD TRY THIS

NOTE: The "Billboard Test for Mac" uses special 3d technology that was configured to run on a Macintosh computer according to the information I could find. This is experimental and I need feedback as to whether this actually works on a Mac. This file is in "ZIP" format, and must be extracted before use. Please consult the "readme" file inside the compressed document for basic instructions. There is a chance it won't work. I have never tested anything on a Macintosh computer.

ZapMap for Mac & PC (Sat 7-18-09):

Click Here to Download ZapMap for Mac & PC <--- DAD TRY THIS

NOTE: The "ZapMap" download is a ".jar" file that should automatically be run by Java when it is double-clicked on a system with Java properly installed on it. Please download this file to your computer and double-click it to run it. If the above screen does not appear, please try downloading and installing Java for your system from www.java.com then try doubleclicking the file again. This file should work (theoretically) for Java on any platform.

CONTROLS:
ASDW = keys for moving the tank
MOUSE LEFT-CLICK = aim at and fire at the cursor
PLUS/MINUS KEYS = zoom in/out of view
ESC = exit game.

This game actually allows you to make your own maps and place enemies to fight and hostages to rescue, but those controls are outside the scope of this release, which is simply intended to demonstrate that it works on a Macintosh.
